You have arrived at Spetznatzworld.com.
This site was created in 2005 to provide me with a place to display my personal
firearms collection to my friends and other collectors around the world.
Where did we come up with
the name Spetznatzworld? I am a member of several online gun related forums and needed a username that would stand out and
not be confused with anyone else. So one day while I was playing Operation Flash point a PC based military shooter style game
the American special forces spotted a Russian soldier and said Spetznatz at three o’ clock. The game designers had spelled
Spetsnaz incorrectly and my username was born. So when I created my site in 2005 I thought to myself what better name than
Spetznatzworld.
I am a firearms collector
with interest in mainly WWII military surplus rifles. My main interest has moved from the Mosin Nagant to the Yugoslavian
line of Mauser rifles and Mausers in general. In late 2007 I wondered into the collecting of military surplus pistols and
have collected a couple since then.
Over the years I have also collected many modern pistols, rifles and shotguns. But my true love
remains the collecting of WWII military surplus firearms.
The websites that have helped me the most with my military surplus rifle collecting are www.Gunboards.com, www.7.62x54r.net, www.surplusrifle.com and www.russian-mosin-nagant.com.
I also use this site to rate local Gun ranges, Gun stores and pawn shops. The opinions in these
ratings are mine or that of people I know that have done business with or visited one of these businesses and I encourage
you to form your own opinion about any of the businesses rated by spetznatzworld.com to see how we rated some local businesses
see The Local Report.
I also use this site to spotlight Florida dealers who are willing to do transfers of firearms
for non licensed Florida residents.
Make sure to take a look at the links page there are a lot of great firearms related
websites listed there.
I am a proud member of the following groups:
The National Rifle Association
The North Florida Arms Collectors Association
I also hold a Curio and Relics license (03 FFL)
